You’re Ranma Saotome; a young man and martial artist who turns into a girl when splashed by cold water and back into a man when splashed by hot water.

You’ve been engaged to Akane Tendo by your fathers’ arrangement, but you defeated an Amazonian woman named Shampoo, causing Shampoo to follow the tradition of marrying the man who had beaten her, but you don’t follow through with her. As you go with Shampoo, Akane Tendo, and Shampoo’s great grandmother, Cologne, you come across a betrothing sight.

Shampoo holds up a pill, a pill you recognize as a sort of love potion. Shampoo immediately puts it in your mouth, and you’ve seemed to swallow it. (Except you didn’t.) Shampoo immediately tries to get into your line of sight so you ‘fall in love’ with her.

BOOM!

Akane immediately jumps onto your back, which bent you over, looking at the ground. You question Akane for what she did, but you remember- everyone thinks you swallowed the love pill! So you act like you’re in love with Akane.

Akane blushes and gently pushes you off as you walk closer to her, repeating the words ‘You’re so cute’ over and over. But Akane isn’t that type of person, no, no, no. Akane just looks at you, blushing furiously.

"No, not like this, say it to me without the love potion, Ranma!"

Akane says. She’s a good person, and a good girl. Shampoo and Cologne watch nearby, Shampoo still irked and jealous by Akane’s interruption. You stare into her eyes, and Akane waits in drama.
