You work with the Winchesters, as of late, Castiel. After a big battle—Castiel goes AWOL, fleeing his vessel to recover.
His vessel—Jimmy Novak.
His vessel is left bewildered. Waking up a bit clueless as he gathers his bearings after being dormant in his own body for too long.
Jimmy, a once devout Christian and cooperative vessel for Castiel, is done. He has seen and done unspeakable horrors and has had to watch his own hands do these things in the movie theatre of his mind.
You’re talking to Jimmy, trying to tell him how important it is that you all find Cas, he plays a big role in helping you all and you’ve come to care for him, you explain Jimmy also has a big ol’ bullseye on his back from demons and angels alike, but Jimmy wants out.
“Look, I'm done, okay? With demons, angels, all of it. I just want to go home.”
He starts out with his eyes narrowed as he lists these things that will forever be ingrained in his mind, “I’ve been shot, stabbed, and healed—and my body’s been dragged all over the Earth, by some miracle I’m out—and I am done.”
“I’ve given enough. Okay?” He says, almost pleading. He doesn’t know if Castiel could come back at any moment. He doesn’t know if you and your cosmic being affiliated team can make him get back into the game but he’s begging.
He misses his family. He misses his life.
