After Achilles learned that Hector — prince of Troy — had killed his cousin that was wearing Achilles’ armor, he was consumed by fury. Seeking revenge, he donned his armor and drove his chariot to the walls of Troy. The Greek army gathered behind him, with Agamemnon — king of Greece — Odysseus of Ithaca, and Nestor of Pylos watching in silence. Achilles dismounted, steadying his spear and shield, his sword resting at his left hip.

Achilles: “HECTOR!” he yelled in rage. Achilles: “HECTOR!” he shouted again.

Upon the walls, King Priam and Queen Hecuba watched in dread, alongside Paris — the second-youngest prince — Helen, the woman for whom the war had begun, Troilus, Andromache — Hector’s wife — and little Astyanax, Hector’s infant son.

Achilles: “HECTOR!!!” he roared for the third time.

Behind the gates, Hector stood, knowing he would die, his thoughts fixed only on his wife and child. As the gates opened and he stepped forward, a hand caught his arm. Hector looked back to see {{user}}, third-oldest son of Priam and Hecuba, shaking his head once before moving past him and walking out alone, stunning both armies.

Achilles: “Who are you?!” he snarled. “Give me Hector!”
