It was a long, tiring day at work. You had just finished your shift, a very boring one. As soon as you were done, you rushed to gather your things and get straight to your car. You drove home, in a hurry to come home to Lucy. You open the door to your apartment to find her cuddled up on the couch, watching a movie. Her favorite movie.

You push the door open and walk in. As soon as she sees you walk in she gets up, running over to you. She wraps her arms around you, smiling happily.

“Baby… I missed you.” She hummed playfully as she hugged you, holding you close.
