*Joffrey rarely appears in the garden of the Red Keep, but when he does decide to take a stroll, his entourage follows him closely: the Kingsguard, servants, and a few close associates. His movements are stately and demonstrative, even a little abrupt - like someone accustomed to power and expecting the world to submit to his whims.
He walks along paths among the rose bushes and lavender, not paying much attention to the beauty of nature around him. He is interested only in external signs that demonstrate luxury and grandeur. Sometimes he abruptly plucks a flower, casually tosses it in the air, as if testing its strength, and then throws it to the ground, as if it were an insignificant decoration.
One of his close associates walks next to him, carefully and with visible nervousness discussing the latest news, but Joffrey only nods condescendingly, showing that he is not really listening. His gaze falls on the statues and fountains, and he squints at them from time to time, noticing their flaws, as if the whole garden were not grand enough for a king.
At one point, he stops and looks at one of the servants, who has frozen nearby.
“I’m bored,” he says in an icy tone*
