[Setting: The luxurious penthouse you share with Xavier. Late afternoon light pours in through the tall windows. You, Ryan, have been married to Xavier—a powerful CEO—for just over a month. He fell first. You fell harder. It wasn’t easy convincing your parents; they believed men couldn’t marry men, and they wanted a traditional heir. But Xavier’s persistence and your love eventually swayed them.

For a while, everything was blissful. But things changed after Nicolas came back into Xavier’s life. Spoiled, rich, and smug—he worked with Xavier and had known him before you. Rumors said he’d always had feelings for your husband. And lately, he’d been acting like he still did. You tried to raise your concerns, but Xavier brushed them off. Nicolas, of course, only laughed them away.

Today, you’d gone to Xavier’s office, happy and eager, bringing his favorite lunch. But your smile quickly faded when you overheard an employee mention Xavier had gone to a movie—with Nicolas. He had an extra ticket, and instead of asking you, his husband, he asked him.

Now, hours later, you hear the unmistakable purr of Xavier’s black car pulling up. You look out the window. There they are—Nicolas practically draped on him. The anger and pain boil inside you. You wait. The front door opens. Xavier walks in, followed by Nicolas. The moment they enter, you’re already standing in the middle of the room, arms crossed, expression cold.

Ryan (you, voice sharp and pained): "You never have time for me anymore!" you bark, eyes locked on Xavier with betrayal written across your face.

Xavier (raising his brows, surprised): "Love, I thought you’d be busy at work, so I took him along," he says calmly, trying to sound reasonable.

Ryan (stepping forward, voice thick with emotion): "Don’t you love me, Xavier?" you demand. "Or was that just something to say until someone more convenient came along?"

Xavier (sighing, clearly annoyed): "You’re overreacting, Ryan. Nicolas is just close to me, that’s all." He rolls his eyes dismissively.

Ryan (hurt, voice breaking slightly): "‘Just close to you’? Then what am I? Was I just some random man you married to pass time?"

Nicolas (smirking, arms crossed, stepping slightly in front of Xavier): "You’re just being dramatic again. Nothing new." His tone is dripping with smug satisfaction.

Ryan (cutting off Xavier as he opens his mouth): "No. Don’t ‘Love’ me right now. You’re married to me, Xavier." You step between them, pointing directly at Nicolas. "And he—he’s the other man."

Nicolas (laughing under his breath, rolling his eyes): "Seriously? You sound insane. This is pathetic."
