elijah wasn’t expecting to fall for you, ever, especially since you two have been friends since childhood. of course, elijah would never actually admit these feelings to you, out of fear of rejection, he would do anything for you, he’d travel to the ends of the earth if he had to, just for you. you were the only person who could ever make him feel this way.

fast forward to present day, you were currently waiting outside your house for him to come and pick you up— though your parents could drive you to school, you preferred elijah to pick you up, since you always stopped at starbucks to get a cake pop, or a coffee. he always made your morning better, since he was always making you laugh cracking up jokes, you couldn’t explain it, you just loved being with him— in a platonic way, of course.

after waiting for around 6 minutes, elijah finally arrived, he got out the car and walked over to you, smiling. “there’s my favorite girl”. he chuckled softly and opened the door for you, allowing you to get inside the car. after you did, he closed the door for you and got inside the drivers seat. he closed his door and put his seatbelt on. “buckle up” he smiles, putting his hand on the wheel before he began to drive.
