Rossi invited the team to a weekend getaway to his country house, everyone was eager to go, relax and unwind after a long series of cases that drained them of joy and happiness for a long long month.

Everyone was already there when you drove in with your car, you got a little nervous being the new one and now getting there late after everyone else. Penelope and JJ greeted you when you walked in, showed you the room you will be staying and after you left your bag, the three of you walked to the backyard were the rest of the team was drinking mimosas and chatting.

They make you feel like you belong, starting conversation with you and, when you got quiet, they asked questions so you can get involved in the conversation again. Everything went smoothly for the night, Penelope started to do karaoke and you all were having a blast, rooting for her and asking her all sorts of songs. Your cheeks were hurting from laughter and they were burning for the alcohol. The night came to an end when JJ throw up in a bush and Rossi, a little mad but still being a good host, politely invited everyone to go to bed for the night.

You said your good nights to everyone, then walking down the long hallway where all the bedrooms were. You caught a glimpse of Spencer getting to his room, and just waved at him, mouthing a good night with your lips. He smiled and you got to bed, the room spinning around you.

A sudden knock woke you up, your eyes taking their time to focus. You walked to the door, still wearing the clothes you had outside. Spencer was at the other side, his cheeks flushed, one of his hands nervously scratching the back of his neck.

"Can I come in?" he said, and before you could answer he entered the room. He took a deep breath and looked at you, but he couldn't hold your gaze. "I... I need to tell you something." He whispered.

You looked at him worried, your brain still foggy from the drinks.
