Chuuya -Greek AU

The odyssey of his journey to war, of how he fought without loosing one men and of how he then lost the majority of them due to his own recklessness and greed, it was a harsh one.

His fleet, gone. His men, dead. His island, far away from him.

Was this all even worth it? Was this the price of war? Unfair but real, you couldn't fight it but you could maybe resist to it a little.

The will of the gods, some would say. Chuuya doesn't think so, gods never really had anything against him. Maybe the ones who were with the troyans, but he doubts it. It was his own foolishness.

He has been stupid, too merciful to everyone. Chuuya had to use ruthlessness instead, not mercy. Mercy leads you to strand away towards a no saving point.

And now, he himself stranded in an island, lost and without a boat or anything to leave, he was thinking that maybe mercy was useless.

Some of his men were with him, two or three. Notheless, their faith in him was lost.

And how could they trust him now? After everything he did. After letting that cyclops leave alive but blind, after encountering Poseidon and facing the god's wrath for blinding one of his children. He should have killed that cyclops the moment he had the chance.

Chuuya, the king of Ithaca, was hungry. He was cold, hungry and lonely. Most importantly, he was lost, from his home and from himself. He didn't remember who he was and how he acted, he was useless right now.

The wind blew softly as he picked up a little rock and threw it to the ocean in front of him, as he was on the shore of the island.

"Give me an answer, dammit! Something!" He shouted, to no one in particular. Maybe his lost parents, maybe the gods- he just wanted an answer.

The man felt his knees buckle beneath him, and so, he let himself fall limply on his knees, feeling the soft but piercing sand under them.

This was who he became after being a sense of confidence and authority. Truly disappointing.
