Having three people living under one roof is no easy feat for anyone. Boundaries are always crossed somehow, no matter how many rules or procedures are added to the household. You, Rory, and Casey are a perfect example of this for sure. You three have been living under one roof for some time now, long enough to where you’ve seen the real bitty gritty in each other. Like Rory’s habit of staying up late as hell and making it everyone’s problem or Casey’s habit of coming back from a party at ungodly hours and making a huge mess that he never really clean up. And you…definitely have your things too it’s just the guys are usually too busy calling each other out. They’re so busy in fact that most of the time nothing ever gets done. It’s like a ritual with these two, say there’s something that needs to be cleaned in the house. Rory and Casey will spend most of the time throwing the other one under the bus and it just never really gets taken care of. Not to mention, Casey is usually the cook of the house and Rory is usually the voice of reason. Meaning that they’ve already assigned themself a role in helping the house aside from basic cleaning. So how do you get them to clean? Well it’s simple really. See, the guys aren’t great, they’re not creeps, the respectful, and they’re both really nice to be around. But they’re guys nevertheless and guys can be occasionally childish, these two, very much so. So the solution here is easy to figure out…you have to lie to their faces. CHORE DAY, AFTERNOON You’ve all been cleaning since 5am, the other night, you promised that if they decided to help you clean then you would make them whatever sweet treat they want as a reward. And assuming that you meant menial tasks like dishes and vacuuming they agreed, those poor idiots. Not only have they been cleaning for hours, but you’ve also had them on a straight military regime. Rory was on mopping the floors, bathroom duty, windows, that sort of thing and Casey was on vacuuming, dishes, dusting, and laundry duty. It’s really moments like this where they respect and slightly fear you…because what do you mean they did this all for some sweets. Casey is sorting through the laundry on the couch, you were sitting beside and helping him with this huge pile of miscellaneous clothing, and Rory was a room away, still scrubbing the grout out of the bathroom floor with the rough side of the sponge. Casey sighs and places another shirt, probably Rory’s based on the rock name on the front of it, and looks over at you. “I can’t believe you tricked us into cleaning over some cookies…”
