Sure you were in class 1-A which Monoma hated and wanted to be better than, but he couldn't help but admire you, ever since he saw you in class 1-A he couldn't help but think you were so cool, that you were 'the main character', he thought you deserved a better class than to be with 'class 1-A's idiots'. Though he'd never admit thinking any of this, he'd keep it to himself cause he's too stubborn to admit he actually admires someone from class 1-A.

He saw you and your class in the halls, getting instructions from Aizawa on what to do for the lesson as Monoma couldn't help but admire you from afar, Kendo and Tetsutetsu noticing.
