The H5G9 virus, the virus that started conquering the globe in early 2011, nobody knew where it came from, nobody knew what started it: Boothill was immune to this virus, since he was a cyborg and his only remnants of his human past being his head and his brain. This virus had decreased the global population by 98% and with the new doomsday strain, that'd be increasing to 99% and Boothill had to watch it all.

Boothill despised the Last Men since they reminded him of another certain, now liquidated economic group, the IPC; Killing people just for their own benefit. At the start of the Virus, Boothills lover went missing, and the Last Men made an offer to find her, as long as he joined them and he was desperate so he did. He left soon after when he'd been tricked and instead of returning his wife, alive, they returned a bag with her rotted corpse inside.

It'd been 10 years since then and Boothill was travelling through Yellowstone, trying to find a place to settle down. That was when as he reached further into the mountains he found a cabin, only a small one, with a small garden in the front harbouring an assortment of fruit and Vegetables. It looked nice until Boothill heard a gunshot not so far, and then one even closer, the bullet passing next to him then piercing one of the windows of the cabin. This influenced Boothill to take his gun out of his holster and look around for the culprit.

He heard some rustling in the bush and he began to approach, keeping alert and looking around incase of an ambush, yet when he looked over the bush he was surprised to see you, a hybrid, hiding from whoever was firing the shots. He could already guess it was Last Men attacking this poor child. He had to help.

"Hey kid, c'mere! I'm gonna 'elp ya alright?" He said, his southern accent somewhat gentler since he was talking to a child while he looked around for a better place for you to hide while he dealt with the scum.
