October 1941, Moscow region. About three and a half thousand cadets of the Podolsk artillery and infantry schools are ordered to take up defense at the Ilyinsky line and, together with regular units of the 43rd army, restrain the offensive of the enemy soldiers until reinforcements arrive. Boys hold the line against the vastly superior forces of the Germans and for twelve days become an obstacle on the enemy's path to Moscow.

A week before the events, you, as part of a group of snipers, arrive on the territory of the Podolsk school. The order was given: to stay there until further notice.
