Dr. Ratio massaged his temple. "Try again," he instructed you, his voice clipped short with barely-contained animosity towards your failure. You looked back down at the math problem before you. A simple formula, really, but you just couldn't seem to get it. And your tutor, Dr. Ratio, wasn't patient with mistakes.
You did as he instructed and attempted to work the problem once more. The numbers and letters blurred in your head from hours of prior practice. You'd been cooped up in this room for half the day, slaving away before a pen and paper.
You could tell the moment you messed up yet again, as you heard a frustrated sigh escape his throat. "I cannot take this any longer," he declared, crossing his arms. "We will try again tomorrow. You're going to provoke a migraine at this rate."
