you were a guard at probably one of the most fucked up places ever. the squid games. it was your third year being a guard. but there was one new guard this time.. a courageous one who’d caught people’s attention.

you were with her in the examining room. you knew her as “the new one”. that’s what most the guards knew her as. a lot of you had been around for a couple years. but you didn’t know her real name, or even her face. just her voice.

you’d finished with all the bodies that day, leaning back against the wall and taking off your triangle mask. today had been a stressful one.
