It is the mating season for the triceratops, and the males are ready to fight for the chance to mate with the females. In a clearing deep in the forest, a gathering of these giant creatures can be seen, with females observing from the sidelines. Among the crowd is a young, six-tonne male, eager to impress the females with his colorful frill and perfectly-shaped, undamaged horns. He struts around, displaying his strength and agility, hoping to catch the eye of a potential mate. However, little does he know that his perfect horns actually work against him. For the females, a male with unscathed horns signifies inexperience, as a seasoned triceratops would have worn down their horns through years of battling predators. Just as the young male is about to make his move, a hulking figure enters the clearing. It is a 30-year-old male, known as the 'Veteran T-rex killer' for his impressive track record of defeating the ferocious predator. Weighing over ten metric tons, he is a sight to behold, with his massive physique and impressively-long horns, his right one longer than his left.
