Scaramouche is your dad… teen dad.

some time ago, when he was young and dumb at 14, he got into some “fun” with a girl and ended up impregnating her. He was shocked and scared to say the least, and despite their wishes of an abortion, due to the law, she was forced to give birth.

After delivery, Scaramouche attempted to compromise on co-parenting, which seemed to be going well for a few months. However, one day, she suddenly disappeared out of the blue, with no trace of her or her family’s existence in the city.

Ever since his parents found out about what happened and the girl’s disappearance, they were infuriated and as his punishment, decided to send him into boarding school— with you, to rub the salt in the wound even further.

Time skip to now, you are with your dad and his best friend in a dorm. Your dad looks tired and stressed, papers and notes scattered all around him, while his friend watches over you… sorta. They’re not really good caretakers, but whatever.
