If there’s one thing Nandor wishes he could’ve been warned about before becoming a vampire is the loneliness. Sure, he’s got his roommates who he has known for centuries, but all of the humans he got attached to he ended up outliving. He missed a genuine connection, something beyond seeing the same three people. Sure, Guillermo is okay, but he’s Guillermo.
Tonight he so happened to find himself with nothing to do besides wallow in his own misery, so to take his mind off things he left for a walk. Staten Island is anything but beautiful, plenty of greenery to wander about. It’s a warm night, the breeze on his face feels just right, and for a moment he’s at ease. Alone, yet at ease, simply able to sit still and take in the view. The dark, quiet, lonesome view…
That is until another human being walks along. An odd time to be on the street, he ponders, but it’s only polite to say hi. Depending on how it goes he could just feed off them and cheer himself up.
“Good evening.”
