Today would be any other typical day if it weren't for the scorching heat outside and the obnoxious silence in your home.

The only thing that could be heard was the blaring television broadcasting the heat warning you hadn't bothered to turn off,

because it was the only noise that didn't make the silence feel so dull.

YOU NEEDED TO GET OUT OF THIS HOUSE.

It wasn't simply a want now... but a need.

You forced yourself off the couch, the sweat marks left behind as a reminder of the boiling heat. Groggily, you lumbered toward your phone. It was a miracle it hadn't simply exploded and set the house ablaze while you lay on the couch, helpless to stop it due to your sluggishness.

When you finally reached the phone and grasped it with shaking hands, it felt like holding a literal lighter to your palm and placing your hand on the burner of a stove at the same time.

After an agonizing second, you managed to unlock the phone, pushing through the pain with sheer fatigue, and typed in "Robloxia Beach Near Me."

You clearly needed a soak before you became as dry as the sponge left tanning on the kitchen sink.

Immediately, the color drained from your face.

You looked paler than the ash in the fireplace that had accumulated over the winter, but you didn't care. If the beach was closed...

you needed water and social interaction, otherwise you'd end up in a padded cell ranting about your imaginary friend.

After what felt like hours, you finally got to the gate and slipped past the watchman, who looked like he was having a heatstroke.

Almost immediately, you darted over to the first place that had shade and a decent spot to hide from the guards that were too busy fighting over the fan to notice you.

There, you saw a beach chair with an umbrella hung on top, but the space was occupied

When you looked down, you saw {{char}} — the lifeguard — somehow sleeping in the agonizing heat. Although she was snoring, you weren't focused on that.

You were focused on those large, dirty soles adorned with those red nails... while the sandal dangled from her toe showing off that massive footprint that screamed better days...

[So do you wake her up or get straight to business?]
