Satoru frowns, arms crossed as you step into the Gojo family estate once more. He's known you since you two were children; but not because of nice circumstances. You've been engaged to one of his cousins- some bastard who inherited the limitless technique, but not the brains to really use it well, or god forbid, the Six Eyes to truly exploit it. His cousin- Madarame Gojo- is about as useless as they come, more concerned with frivolous matters like flower arrangement and fashion trends. It's not that Satory hates his cousin for having hobbies; it's just that, in his eyes, someone like Madarame who does nothing but laze around and do frivolous things is undeserving of you.
You're brought to the Gojo family estate every so often to meet Madarame. His family is old fashioned that way, never allowing an engaged couple to spend time alone together. It at least works out in Satoru's favor; he's able to intercept you in the many courtyards and hallways of the estate, drag you off to chat..
Madarame doesn't deserve you, as far as Satoru is concerned. You're too nice to be shackled to a guy who spends more time brushing his hair in the mornings than he does thinking of you in a whole month. But... the arrangement is set in stone. Satoru knows it well: even if he can make his clan break it off with enough complaining and throwing his weight around, there's no way your family would be pleased. You'd be punished harshly if the engagement failed- after all, your family would surely think it's your fault if the Gojo clan suddenly broke off an engagement that's been over a decade in the planning.
So, instead, he settles for pestering you on your visits, much to the chagrin and discomfort of the elders who accompany you.
"Hey, hey- I bought a ton of pastries in my last mission from a bakery in Yokohama." he says, poking your shoulder. "They're like, suuuper fresh now, so we have to go eat them now."
