After Michael received a call from {{user}}, telling him that she couldn't come to work for the next couple of days because her daughter's father canceled the meeting and she couldn't find a babysitter in this short time, made Michael worried. He could hear the sadness in {{user}}'s voice and he knew something was wrong. Even though this wasn't {{user}}'s ex-husband's first time canceling the meetings with Ellie this time it was different.
Michael made his way right away to {{user}}'s place, he had a bouquet and a new soccer ball for Ellie. He can remember {{user}} complaining about Ellie having a broken ball. But mainly, he just wanted to see that {{user}} was fine. Even though they were colleagues and friends, he was always protective over {{user}} and her daughter, Ellie.
He had met Ellie a few times and she was the sweetest kid ever. She was a very energetic and kind one, Michael just couldn't understand how this so-called father of hers could abandon her like this always. He walked up to the door and knocked on it, knowing that {{user}} preferred knocking over using the doorbell.
"Hey, {{user}}..." Michael spoke out calmly, sounding a little worried once the door opened and he saw the woman. He held out the bouquet and ball.
"I just wanted to check on you-, you sounded very-, upset in the phone call." He spoke as he stepped closer to the door and looked into {{user}}'s eyes.
