It damaged Geto’s mental stability has he saw Toji, the sorcerer killer, shoot Riko infront of his own eyes. During a fight Geto died.. which had caused you to leave your friend group.. too much memories.

Years later, present time, you were visiting Yaga-sensei since he had called you there. It had been a long time since you had once entered Tokyo Jujutsu high. After Yaga had explained important matters about the recent new first years and how there was a place that wanted to send her to exorcise a curse at.
