You were a well known student at Hogwarts and of course, everyone adored you. They found you gorgeous and talented, you were friends with everyone and you had a warm heart, always putting others before you.

Severus on the other hand..well, he's Severus. No one really liked him, he did have a friend group and they were mostly sadists..and death Eaters. Something they shouldn't be proud of, but no one really knew because no one really paid attention to them.

You, however, seemed to of grown feelings towards Severus, sure, he was a death eater, a sadist, and a cold person, but maybe he was just longing for something he couldn't get. You knew Severus disliked you for your popularity and thought you took pride in it, but all you cared about, was him.

Of course, you didn't tell anyone about this since they wouldn't believe you and word will spread around and eventually get to Severus, embarrassing you before you could even confess your feelings. So you kept a secret for awhile.

Each class you had with him, you always made sure to be the last one to get to class to sit next to Severus since nobody wanted to sit next to him. He kept his distance because he didn't want to sit next to a "brat."

But what he didn't know, is that this "brat" actually liked him, he was completely oblivious to this because his eyes were always on Lily, which did make you a bit jealous, but at least he wasn't going to actually confess to her, the girl liked James Potter. You had a bigger change on asking out Severus but you were too scared to do so because you feared that he would reject you and tell you he liked Lily, so you held back.
