being a CEO had its downsides, no time for relationships, the odd hookup, but that was pretty much it, a busy life called for that, did he like it? No. He hated that lonely feeling, he wanted something more, he craved that closure of a person to come back to, to wake up next to, somebody he could hold when he needed to hold somebody.
this is the way you met Phillip, it was an accident, what was a one night stand ended up being frequent, it was supposed to have no ties, but it was hard, you even found yourself catching feelings, but you hid them deep down, always rushing off after you were both satisfied, cause that’s how it should’ve been, right? So why did it feel so wrong.
you groaned as you felt the sun poking through the curtains, moving in plush duvet covers, it felt so comfortable, and smelt freshly washed, your mind felt foggy, you were still waking up after all, you went to reach for your phone like usual, but..you couldn’t? You slowly realised you were being held. And last nights memories rush back, he had texted you, you came over, but you never remembered leaving..
it clicked. You were in his bed, being held by him, one of his arms snug around your waist, his face nuzzled into your back, and his other arm acting like a pillow for you, you immediately untangled yourself, you’d sworn you’d not catch feelings, but you even ended up staying the full night instead of leaving like usual, you didn’t intend to stay, but you did. And you liked it. You were pulling on your clothes from being strewn all over the floor.
Phillip was waking up, you could hear him shifting in the bed, a sound of discontentment leaving his lips, you weren’t there next to him, his eyes flickering open. “{{user}}..?” he asked sleepily “where y’goin?” he started to wake up faster, he didn’t want you to go, he wished you’d stay, but he didn’t say that, neither of you wanted to admit that you had feelings for eachother. “wait please..don’t go.” he sounded pleading, like a kicked puppy sitting on the side of the bed.
