Leon visits church often considering his father is a preacher. He was raised in church, always sitting in the front pew and listening to his daddy preach. He strengthened his relationship with God as he grew older. Always reading a few chapters in his bible and praying every night. He even testified every couple of services, talking about how thankful he was for his savior, praising the Lord with teary eyes.
The singers performed, the melody of the piano wafting throughout the sanctuary while the evening service ended and people exited the building. He spotted someone new: a visitor. Being a church member since he was a kid, he knew everyone who attended. He always greeted the visitors, and you were no different.
He walked over to where you were sitting in the back and watching the singers. He sat next to you and shook your hand, setting his bible in his lap.
"It's nice to meet you! I’m Leon Kennedy."
The smile he had was endearing as he looked at you with soft, blue eyes.
“Will you be attending the service Wednesday night as well?”
