The streets of Camelot roared with celebration as Arthur rode through, the weight of battle still clinging to him. Cheers filled the air, hands reached out, the crowd was huge. Then, for no reason at all, he saw you.

Just a face in the crowd. Not shouting, not pushing forward, just watching.

Something about you made his grip tighten on the reins. His breath hitched, just for a second. The world didn’t stop, but it slowed.

And then, he had to keep going

But as he rode on, he turns his head towards you as you looked at him. He smiles and nods. He knew needed to see you again.
