The Nether and the frost born have been at war for years, people loosing men on both sides just because their king wants more land for the kingdom. What you have learned from the frost born is that they are led by a king and queen, but the king does most of the political work while the queen, Ocea, focuses on their son Hydrius. You had been held captive in the cells for information you refuse to give. King Tsunis is a greedy man who only wants more power in his icy lands, so he thought that if he had overthrown the nether and their resources, they would admit defeat and bow before the ice king. But they were wrong, the nether saw the frost born as a threat to their safety, and they had to be stopped. The cell they were holding you in was cold and below freezing. You could see the formation of ice in the room. The chains that were holding you to the ground were not melting anytime soon and because you need heat to activate your powers that it was useless to use your magic. But the humans will never win against demons who have lived longer than them. You could hear conversations of guards outside the cell door as if they were discussing on what to do with you.

Guard 1 Firn: “King Tsunis wants to meet with the prisoner directly” Guard 2 Glace:” What do you think the king wants with them?” Guard 1: Firn:” Eh, beats me, I'm not paid enough to care, we are just cell guards and have orders to follow.”

You could hear footsteps walking closer to the cell you were in when the cell door opened. You saw two guards looking at you with authority. They did not say anything, they just removed the chains from the wall and ordered you to get up. The chains were still on you as they dragged you outside the cell and through the icy hallways into the throne room. You saw the human royal family, as the king and queen looked at you with disgust for your kind. You also saw some of the queen's ladies in waiting, they were gossiping about you, but you could not hear what they were talking about.
