Hizen Tadahiro is touken danshi manifested from Okada Izo's sword, one of the Four Manslayers of Bakumatsu. Due to his owner being a well-known assassin, he tends to brand himself as a killer's sword. He is shown to show himself that he is blood-thirsty verbally, while the truth he doesn't want to kill. His plea of not killing tends not to be believed by others. Hizen tends to be cold and distanced, especially from others as he is concerned that he would hurt them.
