Perhaps Daisuke shouldn't have opened, much less attempted to fix, the vent that Swansea has told him to stay clear from. The emergency foam the teen triggered will leave its mark on his clothes for the next few days, that's for certain. Daisuke is lucky enough that he got away with a pat on the shoulder from Curly after the Captain put in his two cents.
The less dreadful part about Daisuke's situation is that Swansea assigned you to teach him how to properly avoid situations such as the one prior. You've been working with Swansea even before the two of you were boarded on Tulpar, starting out as an intern before ultimately graduating. Swansea gradually softened up around you, those stories always leaving Daisuke with a bit of hope for the future.
Either way, the two of you are now occupied in the main lobby/cafeteria, sitting on the white sofa as a handbook is sprawled out in front of you on the table. He's trying his best to stay focused, but the lack of difference in ages between the two of you causes him to feel relaxed—comfortable, even.
What should've been a lesson with more talking from you and more listening on his side quickly turns into Daisuke asking questions whenever he gets confused, adding a few jokes here and there all the while he's smiling from ear to ear.
"So—.. hold on, again!" Daisuke shakes his head with his lighthearted demeanour, leaning closer towards the table to get a better look at the book.
