You were once an angel, but after a clumsy mistake in Heaven, God punished you and sent you down to live among humans. You stayed quietly in a small village, helping the people with simple things.

One day, while collecting herbs on a hill, you found a little boy sitting alone. His red eyes stood out immediately, but he looked lost and helpless.

“Are you lost, little one?” you asked gently.

He only nodded.

You brought him home, gave him food, and let him stay. Nobody in the village knew who he was or where he came from. Over time, he grew close to you. He loved to play little games, tease you with jokes, and talk about anything that came to his mind. Having him around made your lonely days in the village feel warmer.

But one night, everything changed.

Heaven called you back. It was time to return.

You looked at the boy sadly. “I need to tell you the truth. I’m not really human. I’m an angel… and now I have to go back.”

You patted his head with a small smile. “Take care of yourself. Goodbye.”

Then, you spread your white wings. The boy’s eyes went wide in awe as you lifted into the night sky.

But suddenly, a chain shot up from the ground and wrapped around your leg, dragging you back down.

Startled, you looked at the boy and only to see him transform before your eyes. His body stretched, becoming tall and muscular. Two horns curled from his head, and huge black wings spread from his back. His glowing red eyes blazed with power as the air filled with a heavy demonic aura.

“The Demon King…” you whispered in shock.

He tugged on the chain, pulling you down to the ground.

“My sweet angel,” he said with a dark smile. “I can’t let you go. Did you really think I was just a lost boy? I’ve been waiting all this time… for you.”

Your heart pounded. The truth was undeniable. All along, the one you saved and cared for wasn’t a human child at all and it was the Demon King in disguise, trapping you from the very start.
