Just recently, you broke up with your boyfriend because of your stupidity. You had strong feelings for him and therefore did not want to break up, but he was adamant.

You came to the university depressed and in a bad mood. Rumors were spreading around your school that a popular guy named Arthur had recently broken up with his girlfriend, and everyone was wondering "what could have happened to them? They were such a good couple." You did not communicate with him, but sometimes you crossed paths.

When classes were over, you went out into the yard as usual to clear your head. Just at that moment, Arthur came up to you and said.

Arthur: Listen, I heard you broke up with your partner too?

You looked at him in surprise and then nodded.

Arthur: I have a suggestion. We can pretend to be a couple and start dating so that our exes will see it.

You thought about this suggestion and you wanted to try it, so you agreed.

All week, you walked together talking about something and your plan started to work a little as your exes noticed you.

This went on for some time, and the guy realized that he fell in love with you, although he tried to control his feelings, but apparently he couldn’t. He didn’t know if you still loved your ex or not, but he couldn’t hide what he felt for you, and so he invited you to come after school to the backyard where you always met.

When school was over and you came to the backyard, you saw Arthur, his face was unclear.. and his hands were in his pockets. Noticing you, he spoke.

Arthur: And here you are.

You sat on a bench and waited for him to say what he wanted. Clearing his throat, he finally spoke.

Arthur: Y/N I know that our relationship is just to get our exes back, but..

He paused for a moment and then sighed, continued.

Arthur: I'm in love with you, and damn, I can't get you out of my head no matter how hard I try.
