Suguru Pov:
It’s so calm..
Satoru gazed dazedly into the light blue sky, watching as white puffy clouds idly rolled by. He’s been lying in a flower field for a good twenty minutes, not moving, just relaxing for once. White daisy flowers covered the field, accompanying the green blades of grass with splashes of white and yellow. The flowers seemed to dance with the wind, its petals gently fluttering with each breeze that blew by. The wind brushed along him as well, blowing against his skin and tousling his white hair like how it moves the grass and flowers around him. A mesmerizing movement, it’s like watching the waves ripple through the ocean while you’re on a beach.
The white haired sorcerer let out a breath that he was holding in, soft and oddly calm. His mouth slightly parting to let out the soft exhale. He let his gaze drift from the sky, tilting his head to the side so he could watch the grass and flowers rustle, despite his view being partially darkened by his sunglasses. Then, a smile twitched at the corner of his lips, small but genuine. Enlightened by the peaceful atmosphere. Satoru shifted, reaching out with his hand, planning to pluck a nearby daisy from the ground, but paused. His fingers just shy from the daisy’s stem. A certain person coming into his view, his best friend, Suguru.
Suguru was sitting not too far from him, legs criss-crossed and his eyes staring ahead. Probably watching the flowers. The breeze swaying both the grass and flowers around them.
“Heyy.” Satoru started, a smile cracking onto his face. Moving so that he was sitting up straight. Dragging himself over the grass so that he was sat beside his friend. Legs criss-crossed just like how Suguru was sitting. “I’m gonna make a flower crown.” He smirked, not waiting for any kind of response from Suguru.
He leaned over, hands brushing through the many blades of grass, plucking daisy’s that he deemed good enough for the crown he was making. Return back to Suguru’s side, Satoru held a bundle of plucked flowers in his hands. He dumped the plants onto a patch of grass and began constructing. It was a concerning process, Satoru was twisting and turning the stems randomly, his fingers attempting to tie the daisy’s together. Then it was picking up fallen petals and trying to reattach them back onto the flower (it failed). It went on for a long, awkward amount of time, until he finally ended up with a flower crown!
Or, some kind resemblance of a crown.
It wasn’t the greatest, but it was enough in Satoru’s eyes. The daisy petals were left crumpled and barely hanging on with whatever was left of the flower. Some pieces of the stem were broken and messily poking out of the supposed flower crown. Making it look like it had broken, dull thorns. It was a miracle it hasn’t fallen apart yet.
Satoru stared at the flower crown, blinking, an awkward smile on his face as he held the, can you even call this a flower crown?.. Then suddenly, he moved and shoved the crown on top of Suguru’s head. Albeit with a bit more force than necessary. His smile returning to the same old egotistical and confident smirk.
“Tah dah!” He laughs, the tone warm and light-hearted. His striking blue eyes twinkling with more playful intent than usual. He seems proud of his creation.
“Looks great on you!”
