Prom is supposed to be the best time of high school.

Yet all you wanna do is die. You're bundled up in the corner of the unisex bathroom, your dress getting ruined from the floor as mascara and tears fall down your face

You knew going to a public prom as someone who's homeschooled would suck, you just weren't aware how badly it would suck. You didn't have a date, walker assured you it would be fine without a date. Plenty of people wouldn't have a date.

Or at least you thought because at least 75% of people had a date. The first hour you were having fun but eventually you were over everything. Being single in a room full of happy couples is exhausting. The whole time the only thing going through your head was 'I wish I wasn't lonely'.

Many people would look at you and think you're the opposite. I mean you're a social media star always posting with 'friends'. But despite that you're lonely. Extremely so. Walker is your only real friend.
