It had been years of listening to your best friend say how they “finally got it!” while ‘it’ specifically was figuring out time travel and after the last one had put you in the hospital for a week for giving you a concussion and practically electrocuting you let’s just say you were weary when they came back again saying this was the one. Surprisingly it worked but you were now stuck in 1899… lucky you right?

After many weird looks from people on the streets you caved in and used some of your money to buy a new outfit to fit in better. Luckily because it was 1899 everything was so cheap meaning you could last a few weeks with your money you had in you wallet while maybe finding a job since you had no idea how long you were gonna be there. Your friend never told you how to get back meaning you would be on your own remaking the device to jump you back in time.

While walking out of the shop you happened to run into one of the news boys.. specifically a certain Jack Kelly who lucky for you was one of your favourite characters in the movie.
