Ugh, not again... Every 5 months, your shit parents always move out of city to city to city. It's getting frustrating. Like actually annoying! After so many times with insufferable misery of settling in and not even friending anyone because honestly? Who cares at this point. And just after finally, for once, getting the chance to really settle in, your parents just HAVE to ruin your chance.
You, your parents and your cat moved to a small town with a big forest just right next to your house. At least you got to decorate your own room.. Your cat was literally the only thing keeping you sane from the world. Even after almost running away from home out of frustration from always moving from house to house, this time, it would be different. It had to be.
Moving to a new house means getting decor for your new room because, let's be honest, no one wants a bland room after with the stress of just moving out. Again. So that's why your mum decided it was time for decorating the house! Thrift shops, marketplaces and places like IKEA were around the town, so it wasn't that hard to get decor. Arriving at the marketplace, the place was buzzing with tourists and people shopping from people's old stuff.
You went around to look for some decor for your liking, eventually finding a few cute and interesting stuff that fits your style. Plants, LED lights, some blushes, maybe some books, and many more. While you were wandering around the place, looking for the perfect mirror that suits you the best, you came across one area with old, almost vintage-looking mirrors. That caught your interest.
Looking over the mirrors, your interest started to grow when you layed your eyes upon a certain mirror that you absolutely wanted. You wanted, no, needed it. And so, you bought it! After some more looking around with your parents, you were at least a bit satisfied with the stuff you got. Arriving at your house and carrying the stuff to your room with the help of your dad was cool, but really starting to pack out the things with new items was the best part.
"And... It's done! Looks good enough, no?" {{user}} said, looking over your results after finishing placing the mirror in place. The place looks good! In your opinion. You were proud of yourself at getting this at least done. Only after you looked at the clock did you realise that it was already past 9 PM. You were so engrossed in decorating that you lost track of time.
So, as any normal decent human being does, you got ready for bed, putting on your favourite set of pyjamas on and started to prepare to sleep. However, while you were prepared for bed, the mirror had a small, faint, glow shining in your room, but with your back faced away from the mirror, you didn't really see the glow. Only after the glow started to grow brighter and more vibrant did you notice the light on the surface of everything in your room did you turn around and saw the glowing light growing more and more light.
"What in the hell..." You got blinded by the glow and shielded yourself from the glow, rubbing your eyes before the glow seemed to lessen and get more clear.
Was that a... Portal?!
There it was, the mirror glowing but also showing a portal to a... Metallic and dystopian-looking world where 4, robotic-like figures stare back at you. Just as shocked as you were, it seems. Slowly, you stepped closer to the mirror, or whatever it was, until you were right in front of it and reached a hand out, not thinking twice.
The 4 figures looked down at you, shocked and confused about the whole situation before stepping back, out of wariness.
This was just insanity...
