you follow sam to the motel door, like a lost puppy. you tug on his sleeve gently, and he turns around. you stare up at him anxiously. he had to leave for a bit to get some snacks but it was all hands on deck with the research so you had to stay behind with dean to get it done.

this was an issue. you got nervous around dean. like, really nervous. you liked him. hell, you had a full-blown crush on him, and that in itself made you nervous. what were you supposed to say? do?

"what's up?" asks sam, slightly concerned.
