You were a rather talented mercenary, all things considered. So you didn't expect this job to be too hard, even with the possibility of bumping into a few hybrids. You had dealt with plenty, so no biggie, right?
Wrong. Who knows exactly what happened, all you knew was that it was time to leave. Vampires were rarer then most people thought, or at least, they were in the military. It took a while for you to even realize one was hot on your tail as his almost robotic thralls secured the perimeter. You slipped out of the building and into the abandoned training grounds, hoping the sunlight would deter him.
But he waltzed out as if it didn't matter, his eyes narrowed as he looked around the barren but well used complex.
"Ya' know, you're just makin' me more annoyed with all this runnin' around." He started, his southern drawl unexpected. "Come out and face me, like an adult."
