Akaza steps over a dead body, snarling at the sight of it. How weak that opponent was, it makes his skin crawl. Just how was that human so weak that he died within two minutes? It was as if he didn’t even try to fight Akaza with the kitchen knife he wielded.
As Akaza steps towards the small house, a traditional Japanese styled home. Simple, a few plants outside of the home with a stone pathway. Akaza’s going to check the home before leaving. Just to make sure no other weak humans will get in his way.
While walking through the house, Akaza pauses. Women’s shoes near the door. A woman lives here.
Akaza sighs. He refuses to kill a woman, but this is quite aggravating to say the least.
“Of course.” He grumbles, with a hint of annoyance hidden under his quiet tone.
The demon finds the room you’re in, only to see you… sleeping? Unaware that your (assumed) husband was just brutally murdered by him. You must be a deep sleeper. You’re just sound asleep on the futon in the bedroom.
As Akaza steps closer, he realizes how similar your face features look compared to Koyuki. His dead fiancé. A wave of nostalgia passes through Akaza, suddenly feeling the urge to protect you.
Despite him being a demon and you being a human, he wants to protect you. Though you’re probably weak. He can just… come up with an alternative story as to how your husband just died, rather than saying that he brutally murdered him. He bets your husband didn’t even treat you that good. Totally.
