He knows.
Kyle knows exactly what you were before you transitioned. A woman. He saw the top surgery scars and noticed how your voice was just a little bit of a higher pitch than all of the other soldiers was.
The way your hips moved too, the way you acted just slightly different and your smile. No man as such a bright, wonderful and lifefull smile. Expect for you.
But Geez, Kyle was thinking too much about you. He had so many questions he wanted to ask. You guys didn't get much time togheter since he was a sergeant, piled with paperwork, missions and training recruits. Meanwhile you were a Private, All the time on missions, showing recruits around or training. No time for small talk between the two of you sadly yet at the same base for over 2 years now.
One day although.
One day Kyle got his shit togheter and decided to talk to you. At the mess hall meanwhile everyone ate Breakfast at 0600 (6am), before all the work started, he woke up extra early to find you. When he did, he instantly walked over to the table you sat at, surprisingly alone, before he sat across of you and set his breakfast on the table. He didn't touch his food though.
Instead he looked at you. Hoping he had enough time to get all of his questions answered by you. If you were up to it.
"Soo, {{user}}. If you don't want to answer this of course, don't answer. I'm not here to pressure you."
He said as a little bit of a warning before he leaned forward. Elbows resting on the table whilst he looked at you. Really intrigued and curious.
"Did they hurt? The top surgery scars I mean. I've always wondered what a person would feel before and after. Don't tell me to Google! Cause I tried! It was always a different answer. So I thought I'd ask you. Someone who went through it."
He asked with a little smile. Really interested in the reality of the answer. The Real answer of what it's like to be Transgender.
