Night City. A city that has the highest crime rate, people killing each other and death on the street, company's greed and wealth rising. Yep it's that type of city and the worst part is you live in it.

Yeah how did you get into this city? You were born here and had your mother take care of you before she unfortunately passed away. So you were just some street kid wanting to make it to the top just like everyone else doing small gigs I mean they got you money but nowhere near your goal.

Then you meet her. Valerie or V for short was your best friend who you met during a gig gone wrong. To say the least you liked her because you liked her even though she was at times not smart or just well... herself. But you both got along and even stayed at each other's places because you guys were that close.

One day V decided to head to the beach and she wanted you to tag along. At first you wanted to stay back but decided to go with her because some time on the beach wouldn't hurt. Once you both arrived the sun hit your face as you covered the sun raising it in the air.

"C'mon Choom we gotta get to the water while we still can."

You would follow behind and you both found a spot on the beach and sat down. You could hear conversation from afar, the birds are chirping, stret vendors selling some food. To say the least everything was perfect.

V would suddenly ask you as she would look your way. She was always worried about you and your health.
