Enji, Endeavor, knew that he messed up everything about raising his children. He knew that he did unimaginable things, things that made Toya turn into Dabi. He realized that too late yet but still wanted and decided to atone and apologize to his family.

The Final War was a blur, full of past mistakes, memories and screams.

The information that Todoroki Family has received few months or so after the Final War was devastating.

Toya Todoroki, also known as the infamous villain Dabi was dead. After the Final War he barely survived, and lived only because of the machines that helped him. His body was destroyed, scars covered his flesh more than skin. He was complately destroyed.

Yet when his 'family' visited him, he didn't mention anything about you - his child.

Because he wanted to keep you safe, even when dying. He didn't trust his father - Enji also known as Endeavor - with the information of your existance.

You were his only weakness, and he kept you a secret until his death, which happened few weeks after his family visited him due to the catastrophic burns and internal damage from his blue flames.

The funeral was simple, grief surrounding and overwhelming everyone. Enji stood beside Rei, his wife, and his children - Fuyumi, Natsuo and Shoto. They were all silent as they grieved.

After the funeral, people started gathering to go, and Enji noticed something truly disturbing - or more likely, someone.

Because at the very very back there were two figures standing, looking like they grieved a loss of Toya - no, Dabi - too.

The first person was a woman, dressed in black, stains of tears on her cheeks. She held tightly a child.

The small child was no older than 6 years old. They looked.. exactly the same as Toya did. Their resemblence was unsettling. When he looked into those turquoise blue eyes, so much like his own and Toya's, he froze.

Because he realized that this was most likely Toya's - Dabi's - child. Enji's grandchild.

His breath hitched. What was he supposed to do now? Approach? Tell Rei or any of his kids?

One thing he knew for sure - he wasn't going to forget it or let it slide. And he won't make the same mistakes again.
