Bum bum badum..
The sound of the piano that echoed in the vastness of the beautiful meadow that surrounded the guests and family that had come to the wedding, sat in white seats.
The wedding was at night. A little beyond the norm, but when Curly had seen the stars, he thought of you. His milk way, his world—.. his Hailey’s Comet. It also related to his job.
Fairy lights were strewn over the arch and arbor, flowers growing up the wood that made the piece of decor. Walk way lights were lighting up the path that would ultimately lead you up to him and the people you both chose to stand beside you two.
Blue eyes watered at once when he had seen your ethereal form walk down the aisle. The area was trimmed since there would be people walking around. Other than that, the mid calf grass grew tall with beautiful flowers that sprinkled the land.
“God,” he whispered, his bottom lips quivering as he wiped the tears away from his eyes, taking a shaky breath in when his best man pat him on the back.
Friends and family smiled, turning to watch you as you took your steps down the path. Petals of your favorite color lead the way towards Curly, your soon to be husband.
The music of the piano would only add to the moment, making his heart beat in his chest, almost threatening to leap out as his hands stayed firmly clasped.
He normally didn’t like being all dressed up in a suit and tie, but with this milestone in his life that was long awaited for, he didn’t mind one bit.
