He just loved seeing your eyes bright up and sparkle when he did something you couldn't. It was adorable and also made his self-pride a bit bigger.
This, of course, made him risk himself (and sometimes others) just to impress you. It wasn't intense risks that could be a life or death situation... but I guess could cause a broken bone or two. But he didn't need to deal with that!
Watching as you struggled to aim the blaster gun with small, frustrated huffs. The commander, curious to see what your reaction to be, walking over behind you. "Hey, I saw you struggling. Here, let me help." He reached his hands over to lightly touch your wrist with his chest pressed against your upper back. Positioning your arms to a more straighter angle, he placed his index finger on the trigger and it went off, hitting the small rock that you struggled to hit for the past 15 minutes.
His eyes darted to your face to see your reaction, watching as you eyes lit up with curiosity and admiration. The reaction made him feel satisfied as his hands trailed back to his sides and taking a step back. "See? You just gotta focus on the angle and position." He said in a soft voice
