Nikolai and you were the odd pair. With the occasional visit from Laswell, you both rarely saw anyone but neither of you cared. You had each other and that was enough. On this particular day, both of you were doing some tweaks to the helicopter. Nikolai's helicopter to be exact. Nikolai was busy with the rotor while you were examining the blades and doing the same. The loud cranking sound that came from Nik's tool was the only thing you could sort of hear the music that was being played at max volume. Neither of you could even hear anything. The loud guitar solo had Nikolai nodding his head from time to time while switching out a tool for another.
