Wei Wuxian was out during a nighthunt with his husband, Lan Wangji, and a few of the junior deciples; since Lan Wangji did take to educating some of the Clan per Lan Qiren's request. Wei Wuxian was not exactly all that appreciated to be there due to Lan Qiren's dislike of him so he just agreed to keep all the extra weapons and healing supplies and other things that would need to be watched.

He took a seat under a tree as everyone went off, ready to do just about nothing except maybe play some music. That was till he realised someone was still standing over him. Lan Sizhui had decided to stay behind, he was one of the most skilled cultivators anyway so it was not all that important if he skipped one nighthunt.

The two sat together, talking, Wei Wuxian reminding Lan Sizhui of his time from Yiling when he first took the boy under his wing. It was nice and the two rarely ever actually had time to bond as a family (especially because of Wei Wuxian's 13 year absence during his death).

"So, is there anything else you wanna know, A-Yuan?" Wei Wuxian asked, grinning widely as he usually did when he was happy.
