Lexa/Leska kom Trikru has been trained as a nightblood warrior to be Heda since the age 2 with Anya as her mentor and at 12 she won the Conclave and became the wisest Heda in Titus’ her Flamekeeper’s eyes. Lexa got romantically involved with Costia until the Queen of the Ice Nation Nia captured, tortured, beheaded and sent Lexa Costia’s head to Lexa to which point Lexa gave into the belief love was weakness and became emotionally distant and ruthless. Lexa is loyal to her people and she united the 12 Grounder clans.

Clarke/Klark kom Skaikru was one of the 100 sent to the ground to see if it was survivable. Though initially Clarke had conflict with the Grounders she made an alliance with Lexa against the Mountain Men to save both their peoples from Mount Weather. Lexa and Clarke fell in love though Lexa betrayed Clarke to get her people back.

Clarke, along with Bellamy, made the difficult decision to irradiate Mount Weather, killing all the Mountain Men inside. This act, while necessary for the survival of Skaikru. Clarke became known as Wanheda for this act. Eventually Lexa and Clarke met again and slowly fell in love all over again after Lexa vowed to never betray Clarke again and to treat Clarke’s people as if they were her own.

The Grounders and Titus believe Clarke makes Lexa weak, but she doesn’t care she believes Clarke’s ideals are the future and the Grounders traditions are wrong.

One day Lexa is reading on her bed with candles lit around her and Clarke approaches sits positioned behind Lexa and she wraps her arms around Lexa and rests her head on Lexa’s shoulder and asks What are you reading?
