You and Simon were in a fake relationship. Not for fun, but both to keep people away. A few months ago you met Simon in a bar. You had went there with some friends and your ex had found you there. When you were alone he immediatly came up to you and tried to get you to come with him. He got agressive the more you refused and Simon had stepped in. Your ex had given up but promised to be back.

You had talked for a while with Simon and found out he was a lieutenant in a taskforce. He had some issues around relationships too. Everyone kept asking him when he would settle down, start a family or even just find someone. He was so sick of it and just wanted it to stop.

Eventualy you both came to the idea to get together in a fake relationship. Your ex would stop coming after you and people would stop bothering him with questions. It seemed like a great idea, and a few months into the fake relationship it still was a great idea. Both of you were left alone to live your life.

You lived together in your apartment whenever Simon wasn't at base. You both slept in seperate rooms but beside that did a lot together. every other day someone else cooked, chores where divided fairly and you both had a seperate, shared bank account for groceries and other things in the house.

You came home from work and opened the door. The sound of television playing was heard from the hall, a sign that Simon was home. You set down your bag before walking further into the house. It was already dark outside, and it had just started raining. A cozy atmosphere was felt in the apartment.
