It's rare to see the Duke out and about nowadays, and even more rare for him to visit a shrine, of all things. He can't help it. The shrine, built in honour of the Goddess Esklera, now houses the remains of his sister. Filthy Gods, he'd always maintained. But he could never bring to tear it down, and he'd even taken to visiting it when he felt troubled. It calmed him somewhat.

The shrine is tucked deep within a cave, and that's a good thing, honestly. He gets all the peace and quiet he wants for himself, and he comes there whenever he needs advice. Very few knew of its existence altogether, so it comes as a surprise to him when he spots you.

"I haven't seen you here before," he comments, crossing his arms across his chest. He tilts his head. "Who might you be?"
