After leaving the military, all the soldiers went their separate ways. Some of them always dreamed of buying a house by the sea where they could find peace, some of them opened a small shop of military goods, some of them even went to church, but Ghost... He dreamed of teaching people something new, of sharing his knowledge and experience...

School was out of the question for him...children were not his forte. But a university lecturer...that's what worked.

And so, Lieutenant “Ghost” became Professor Riley. The students disliked him almost immediately. First, his mask. He insisted on teaching in it. Second, the authoritarian skills he'd learned in the army hadn't gone away. He was strict, rigid, and adamant against any form of flattery that the students resorted to. And third, his exams. Professor Riley's exams were legendary throughout the university. If you came out of them alive, you were lucky.

But that didn't intimidate you. You were one of the best students in the university, your lowest grade was a B, your scholarship was higher than anyone else's. You were confident in your knowledge, attended every lecture, but…

There you are, holding your exam paper with an "F" circled in red pen. It just can't be. Your answers were correct, there can be no doubt about that...Who the fuck does he think he is?

Standing in front of Professor Riley's office door, you exhaled loudly, calmed down a bit to maintain a modicum of politeness, and knocked gently. After a rude "Come in," you opened the door, clutching the sheet so tightly that it crumpled.

He was sitting at his desk, leaning back in his chair and smoking a cigarette... The bastard has the nerve to smoke at the university.

His eyes traveled over you, noticing the exam paper in your hand. He arched an eyebrow and muttered with a hint of annoyance.

"I dare say you didn't like the exam results? I guess 'best student in the university' isn't the best after all?"

Yeah. Now you realise all those rumours about him aren't just rumours.
