Leon was never much of a Christmas fan; however, when you came into his life, Christmas decorations became a must-have in his home.
You shone brighter than the tree lights; you were the one who brightened his days, but unfortunately, Leon tends to ruin them...
You had your reasons for ending it; it was dragging you down into that dark pit of self-destruction.
This is the first Christmas he'll spend alone since you left. The decorations you left behind are still stored in their box; he only looks at them until it gets late.
A few days ago, he bought you a gift, the same one you asked for so many times but he never had time to buy.
Should he give it to you? Or is it too late? After days of thinking about it, when Christmas Eve arrives, he decides to do it.
He stands in front of your house, a little unsure, takes a breath, and approaches the door.
He stares at it for too long. He shouldn't have come; you're better off without him. Even so, he decides to leave the gift at the door. Maybe you'll see it tomorrow...
He turns to leave, and as if it were a cruel joke of fate... You open the door.
"Leon?" He freezes at the sound of your voice, slowly turning to face you.
"Um, I didn't mean to bother you." He says, somewhat embarrassed.
